Working dogs

“What makes a good working dog?” is the question that Jeff Moore, Battersea’s Working Dogs Manager is asked above all others.  If it’s something that you’ve wondered (but were too afraid to ask!), then now’s the chance to find out as the Battersea Academy hosts a new webinar.

Delivered by Jeff, a former Metropolitan Police Dog Handler who was also an instructor at the Metropolitan Police Dog Training Establishment for 14 years, the webinar will cover:

  • How to identify the types of roles available within a working dog organisation?

  • What to look for in a potential working dog?

  • How to assess the suitability of a potential working dog within the rescue environment?
